REAL Invasion of Privacy (Not By NSA )

(Source: Krebs on Security)

While the ” It’s all about me” crowd has been fretting over the very  remote possibility NSA is invading/has invaded/will invade their privacy, some REAL invasion of privacy has been going on.

1. Hackers managed a data breach at ADOBE : impacting 38 million + users.

2. Experian- a large credit bureau-sold consumer data to an underground ID theft service, which can now furnish the names, social security numbers, dates of birth, driver’ s license numbers, and financial information of millions of Americans to organized theft rings. ( The FBI has been working on that case , and has obtained an indictment against a Vietnamese individual , but the threat undoubtedly continues.)
