Ferguson and Media Sensationalization

I can’t comment on the facts surrounding the death of a young man at the hands of police in Ferguson, MO-a suburb of St. Louis,

That information is not available to the general public, and may never be ; but you’d be hard-pressed to believe otherwise, given the Media’s increasing sensationalization of a skimpy body of facts, factoids, opinions, fantasies, and cleverly parroted lies !

Sensational reporting is a huge money-maker for the Media .

Whose money ? Advertisers‘ money.

They are billed for that advertising on the basis of (independently verified) viewer response; and, when that response “skyrockets” , so do the advertising revenues : not by nickels and dimes , but by millions of dollars.

Thus the cynical Media slogan : ” If it bleeds, it leads !”
